In this context, new technologies and new fat mixtures are being used to remove trans-fatty acids from the products or to replace palm oil.
This gives you the certainty of knowing that only palm oil-free fat mixtures and fats with a trans-fatty acid content of less than 1% are now used in all Patiswiss products.
To enable it to meet the requirements of clients, shareholders, the authorities, employees and suppliers to optimum effect, since 2014 the Patiswiss philosophy on quality (“lnspired by Quality”) has been based on a quality management system which meets the requirements of the FSSC 22000 (Food Safety System Certification) and which is audited and verified annually by an external certification body.
Numerous Patiswiss products are also manufactured in accordance with the corresponding certification standards bearing the Bio Knospe, EU-Bio or FLO-Fairtrade labels.
In collaboration with the Rabbinate of Zurich, a kosher certification has been developed for various product groups. This enables our clients to manufacture kosher- certified end products for the Jewish community.
Patiswiss is now certified and qualified to process UTZ raw materials. Under the same name, this Foundation operates and certificates a programme for agricultural products that are sustainably farmed in accordance with economic, social and eco-friendly standards. One of the prerequisites for obtaining certification is the compliance by the farmer with a code of conduct that lays down social criteria and sets requirements for environmental sustainability and efficient management.
